§15Seal of registering officers

The several Registrars and Sub-Registrars shall use a seal bearing the following inscription in English and in such other language as the [State Government] directs:—“The seal of the Registrar (or of the Sub-Registrar) of”. “Provincial Government”. Subs. by Act 4 of 1914, s. 2 and the Schedule, for “the Local Government fills up the vacancy”. The words and figure “All appointments made by the Inspector-General under section 6 and” rep. by the A.O. 1937.Earlier Subs. by the A.O. 1950, for “Provincial Government”.
